The next Goop can’t wait to meet you, so welcome Pickyeata! She’s an amiable Goop who refuses to eat almost anything her parents put on her plate. This frustrates the other Goops as well, but she’s so nice that they still love to go on adventures with her.

One spring day, Pickyeata’s friend Whymusty invites her to go truffle hunting. But she doesn’t realize that he means mushrooms and not chocolate truffles! Once in the forest, Pickyeata must try a truffle to keep a promise she made, but the truffle is magic and sends her all the way to Croatia! There, she wanders into a tiny town, where she finds a market full of fish, vegetables, and white truffles. The old woman attending the truffle stall offers Pickyeata a truffle, telling her that they’re magical. Pickyeata eats one, and sure enough, she lands right in the middle of a forest! Unfortunately, a dangerous boar is waiting for her. How will she escape?

A tree named Dvro offers help, exposing white truffles around its base. Pickyeata enjoyed eating them once she tried them, so maybe the boar would enjoy them, too? Maybe Pickyeata’s kindness can help her get out of this mess!

Pickyeata’s journey through Croatia will help kids learn the importance of trying new foods, even when they’re unsure about them.
