The next Goop can’t wait to be introduced, so say hello to Hogger! He’s an amusing Goop who loves to make others feel good about themselves. Unfortunately, he also loves to hog anything he sees, which the other Goops don’t like about him.    

One very foggy day, Hogger invites his friend Forgetta over for hot chocolate, but there aren’t enough marshmallows for them both. Hogger hogs all of the marshmallows and gets sucked into his cup of hot chocolate, which drops him into a mud puddle in Uganda. He soon meets a kob, an animal similar to an antelope, and they begin to wander the plains together, finding a nearby tea plantation. They have to hide from a group of hyenas, and then a baby gorilla stumbles upon their hiding spot. Hogger is now traveling with two lost baby animals! 

Sanyu the gorilla reads the tea leaves, but Hogger takes too many, and the leaves say he must be chased by a thousand bees. This sounds very dangerous, but Hogger has to anger a group of bees and quickly make his way to the bee eaters of Uganda. But what happens if he doesn’t make it in time?

Hogger’s adventure in Uganda will help kids understand why they should only take what they need. Hogger will need to learn this the hard way if he wants to get back to Goop World. Will he be able to do it? Join him on the plains of Uganda to find out!

As they run from an angry hive of bees, kids will increase their attention span, engage in imaginative play, and better tolerate boredom. They won’t want to leave Goop World after spending time with Hogger!
