The next Goop is so excited to meet you, so give a big round of applause for Oblivibob! He’s a funny Goop who is always completely himself. He is able to focus on just about anything, but this often means that he becomes oblivious to everything else that’s happening!  

One chilly fall day, Oblivibob and his friends Breaka and Smashum meet at a rock quarry. Oblivious to any danger, Oblivibob stands under a huge chunk of rock, which tips over and smashes him right into a Louisiana bayou! Finding himself surrounded by cypresses, he soon meets a white egret who warns him about the alligators in the bayou and tells him he’ll need to use the maps in the cypress roots if he wants to get home.  

The only problem is that to get to the cypress trees, Oblivibob will need to swim through the bayou’s waters, which is where the alligators live! He’ll need to stay focused and aware of his surroundings if he wants to cross the water safely. Will he be able to focus his attention where it’s needed most?

Oblivibob’s journey through the Louisiana bayou will help kids learn to be aware of what’s happening around them. Oblivibob will have to work on this if he wants to escape the alligators of Louisiana. Come on over to the bayou to see how he handles this challenge!

As little ones gaze upon the mystical cypress trees, they will develop prolonged focus, learn how to regulate their emotions, and grow their interest in reading. Youngsters will want to come back to Goop World again and again after meeting Oblivibob!
