The story
Perfecta bakes beautiful cakes and throws famous tea parties, but when something isn't perfect she spins like a whirling dervish. When Snatcher trips and smashes her castle cake, she spins so fast she disappears into her teacup.
She lands in the hills above the fairy tale town of Cesky Krumlov, where a hare warns her about a band of foxes who take visitors to a haunted tower in Prague.
The real place: Prague
Three things to tell your kid after the story.
- 1Prague Castle is one of the largest old castle complexes in the world.
- 2Daliborka Tower at Prague Castle is named after a knight called Dalibor, who was once locked up there.
- 3Prague has an astronomical clock from the 1400s, and little figures pop out of it every hour.
