The story
Claimer loves hockey and sticks his name stickers on things that are not his, like other Goops' rocks and robots. When he tries to claim another team's nutball win, a warm summer wind lifts him away under an umbrella.
He lands outside the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada, sneaks in at closing time, and reaches for the shiny Stanley Cup just as a deep growl rumbles through the room.
The real place: Hockey Hall of Fame
Three things to tell your kid after the story.
- 1The Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto keeps the Stanley Cup in a grand room that used to be an old bank.
- 2The names of the players on every winning team get carved into the Stanley Cup.
- 3Jacques Plante, a famous goalie in the story, made the goalie mask popular back in 1959.
