The story
Quarling quarrels with everyone, even the moon and the ocean, and puts a star on his suit for every quarrel he wins. When Rudella dares him to bring back a Japanese dragon's tooth in 24 hours, he charges into the forest.
A dragon made of trees warns that the tooth will cost him true bravery. Soon Quarling is flying with birds over tea fields and Mount Fuji, and landing on a red umbrella with a baby dragon underneath.
