Screener and Screenalina and the Cave of Swallows

The story

Screener and Screenalina are the smartest twins in Goop World, but they can't put down their screens. When Concheata drags them to some cool mossy caves, Screener sneaks along a tiny tablet.

A big black bird swoops down and carries them through the screen to Mexico, high above an enormous hole in the jungle. Then it lets go, and down they fall into the Cave of Swallows.

Three things to tell your kid after the story.

1. 1The Cave of Swallows is a giant open pit in the jungle of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, more than 1,000 feet deep.
2. 2Thousands of birds live inside it. Every morning they spiral up out of the pit, and at dusk they dive back in.
3. 3Daring explorers have parachuted into the cave and climbed all the way back out on long ropes.
