Which Goop are you?The story
Sweettoothia is a kind, speedy Goop in a wheelchair with a sweet tooth she just can't control. At the Pie Day contest, she grabs Piejam's perfect strawberry pie and zooms off, until her wheelchair won't stop and she crashes into a hay bale.
She lands in a dark museum in Cairo, Egypt, face-to-face with Alexander, a talking cat statue who thinks she is a queen. Together they roll past golden treasures, but a pharaoh statue wants her magic for himself.
The real place: Egyptian Museum, Cairo
Three things to tell your kid after the story.
- 1The Egyptian Museum in Cairo opened in 1902 and is packed with ancient treasures, from giant pharaoh statues to tiny jewelry.
- 2Ancient Egyptians loved cats. Their goddess Bastet was shown with a cat's head, and some cats were even made into mummies.
- 3The pharaoh Khufu, who appears in the story, is the king who built the Great Pyramid of Giza.
